Cookie notice

Version 2026-10-24. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. This notice lists the cookies and browser storage the website and the two products use, and why.

1. The website

The website at metagnition.com sets no cookies of its own and does not use your browser’s local or session storage. It has no analytics, advertising or social-media trackers. Its fonts are served from our own site.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, sets cookies only when one of its security features is switched on, for example to tell people from bots during an attack (__cf_bm, cf_clearance). These cookies are strictly necessary for security and are not used to track you.

2. SemiTrace

SemiTrace uses sign-in cookies only. They are sent only over secure connections and cannot be read by page scripts.

3. BESS Intelligence

BESS Intelligence uses your browser’s local storage, not cookies:

This data stays in your browser. We do not use it to track you.

4. Signing in with Google, and checkout

When you sign in with Google, Google’s pages use Google’s cookies under Google’s policies. When you subscribe, you pay on a checkout page run by Dodo Payments, our reseller and merchant of record, which may set its own cookies under its own cookie policy.

We do not show a cookie banner because we use only cookies and storage that are strictly necessary to run the site and keep you signed in, or that remember choices you made. If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.

You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block sign-in cookies or storage, you will not be able to stay signed in.
